Food: Sushi "boat", ika, California platters, unagi, tempura, tofu agedashi, yakitori, creme brulee, tiramisu, white wine (forgot which one!), dragonwell tea

Memorable parts:

1. S-sensei's Koukou "rockabilly" phase and her t-shirt with "BOB" on it - "When I was a high school student wearing my BOB shirt and walking in Harajuku, all the gaijin walking past me would say "Bob"..." LOL!

2. S-sensei's comment on F-san's一年生の宿題: "You can't write in English and Japanese!" - with a smiley face attached. She clarified this evening that she merely meant she couldn't read his English or Japanese handwriting. F-san, agreed - that message was kowaii!!

3. B's fortune cookie message to "kiss the person next to you" (残念だけど、M-san declined!) B: "シェーさんのいい思い出なのに、、私に悪い。。”

4. F-san talking to himself: "You can't speak English or Japanese!" Unfortunately, the waiter thought F was talking to him..

5. B -will- reach for that last bit of sushi, even if it's diagonally across a large table。

6. F-san on differences between WC and EC people: "I went "grrr" when WC people smiled at me and were friendly." For a guy from NY, あまり縁量しないで方がいいだろう。。

7. The engineering students may have their creative caps, but B は負けないよ! His sotsugyou cap will read "hippu hoppu" in katakana;せっかく日本語の初めての専攻だからね .. lol!

8. Jo-sensei on how B and F-san discovered the 300yen 馬馬馬 izakaya (not in a mean way though): "Maybe they decided to go inside because it was one of the (few) stores whose (kanji) name they could read..."

今晩は、ちょう楽しかったわね！！！ジェムス、五年目に香港へ。。約束！！
