the city of brotherly love.

Has it changed much over the last year? I don't know. Now that I'm back, perhaps I'll find out.

I am suffering from terrible jet lag - woke up at 3.30am this morning, and fell asleep at 1pm. My mind feels foggy. This is all very interesting to me, as I usually suffer from jet lag only when I get back home. What's happening to me?? -panic-

I digress. Anyway, the flight was 22 hours long - had a transit at Narita, and at Minneapolis, and finally arrived at 815pm. Trust NWA never to be on time. Although I was stopping in Narita for a short time - some 30 minutes- there was something so familiar and welcoming about being able to hear Japanese around me, and read Japanese, and see Japanese, and speak Japanese... my friends back home think I should turn in my akai passport. But, I do like both places, just in different ways.

My Hindu vegetarian meal from Changi was fab, but from Japan to America, I got served some "Asian veg" (ie mushrooms and a few other mysterious bits and pieces floating in starch) meal instead.. darn! Was hoping to see what the Japanese version of Hindu veg would be ^^

The house is nice, and it doesn't feel like I'm back at school.. I guess I will think differently once school starts, lol Only thing is that there's this other weird guy (whom I had expected to have moved out). As long as he doesn't get the idea that we should be BFF, I'll be happy.

All the wireless networks in this neighborhood are secured !! >_<>
