the week gets better
woke up late this morning, which kinda ruined it. i like slow mornings, yukkuri suru. everything was on automode..
saw the cute kids barely 1/3 my height being weighed down by schoolbags, wearing white or yellow caps, with sleep-encrusted eyes making their way to the school nearby.. seeing them awakes that maternal instinct in me, makes me want to protect them.
i don't understand moms who can let their five year old kid walk back ALONE at 930pm.. fine, so shirokanedai is supposedly a safe neighborhood, but yo, this is a child! that kid was obviously wary of any strangers, and he slowed down till he was trailing me instead. good survival instincts! except that i didn't think i looked very dangerous..
anyways. was kinda glum this morning, but positive thinking, girl, PT.. gonna take the night bus over to osaka, and also check out the gion festival. would be nice to see C again, although both of us will have changed since we last met, because we change all the time.
i've been here for perhaps some 2 weeks.. have had so many different, and a few (probably) life-defining experiences. this experience has taught me to ignore most of the fears that come when you're facing a new situation, because most of them are baseless, or are factors beyond your control. don't waste time thinking about things/situations/people you cannot control.
